It is a long-standing tradition that Sunday afternoons, from about 1 to 4pm, someone is at the Blendz in Pacific Centre from NaNoWriMo, waiting to forget about their novels for a while and chat with other Wrimos in the region. Come to chat about something, gripe about your novel, progress or characters and otherwise get to know your fellow wrimos without the nagging sense of having to outwrite someone else.

The location is fairly easy to find. If you are coming via the Expo or Millennium lines, disembark at Granville station and go up the stairs for the Dunsmuir exit, on the Burrard side of the platform. On the ticket vending level, follow the long corridoor with the shops to the Granville Street exit. Go through the fancy outside doors and you should see the Blenz across the street, to your right (northwards).

If you are coming via the Canada Line, disembark at Vancouver City Centre. Go up to the ticket vending level and pass through the doors to Pacific Centre (you’re not going up any stairs here.) Turn right and pass two (I think) sets of escalators and watch for a sign for Concord Tower. Turn right, go up a couple stairs and the Blendz is there by the external doors.

If you are coming via bus, get off somewhere around Granville and Dunsmuir, find that intersection, and look for the Blendz on Granville street, south of Dunsmuir.
